i try to use turbo to get to the behind of him(unsuccesfully)and then we start to follow each other like we are turning around something between us,but it looks like he will catch me soon and i hold("a" if we are turning left,"d" if we are turning right) and without releasing it press(J) then (K) than (J) than (K) again(starfing buttons)

EDIT:how long should a full healtbar be?
EDIT2:i have done the first things i needed to do to allow player switch between ships(normally the view used to follow only one ship,but it can change now,the ai used to follow only my grunt,now it is programmed to follow nearest ship that is not in his team and etc.)
edit3:i fixed everything that appeared on previous engine,i updated to do and glitch lists.

The Healthbar on a Goliath would be impractical but on normal units it shouldn't be much longer than the actual ship.
have space bar be the select deselect unit and clicking rotates through all of your available/remaining units. however don't put in the thing where when a player gains control of a ship it gets a full heal.

ROFL?in the engine i programmed,every ship has their own healthbars,its totally impossible to make a mistake like that
uhm can you tell me which keys on keyboard should be used to do things,and on which unit?in the ones with turrets,mouse should be used,but you said you wanted to let the small ships only fire in one direction.they should use a key for firing,that would be easier for them.
what about Turkish kitchen things'names for alien ships?

Post up some names of the English word next to the Turkish word and I'll see what i can do with that.

In the origional i dont know if you noticed but whenever you possessed a ship it got full HP.
I don't want that in our version.

you will need to know about Turkish alphabet to understand and or pronounce those words.
Annihilation=İmha/Fesih(fesih has a more like "cancel" meaning)
Vengeance=İntikam
(i think we can name bosses' ships with their Turkish names)
Oven=Fırın
Stove=Ocak
Kitchen=Mutfak
i don't have time right now so ill continue later

What i was going to do was combine the turkish words with there english counter part to create a whole new word, so that if someone who played the game wouldn't just say "Hey those Aliens are Turkish" like this

sorry i haven't been on for a week,but i have:1 good 1 bad new and 2 good ideas and funny new!
The GOOD one:I found a good way of imagining,with it we will be more creative and our ideas will never be bad
The BAD one:Game Maker's beta version time has ended,i have to change my time to 1 sep to make it work but then nothing else works.
The GOOD IDEA #1:why don't we make 2 topics for videos and post Youtube poops to one of them and other Important or funny videos there,but one is special for youtube poops and random videos,that would boost our moral a lot i guess
The GOOD IDEA #2:we can decide 2 or 4 or more hours and be on at those hours everyday?
the FUNNY one:i recieved a SPAM e-mail today(7 sep)and it was written that its sent on 8 sep ROFL XD,i would reply and say "I will read your massage and decided to disagree"if it wasn't a spam LOL

I already tried that and it didn't work. (Remember the "Training" stuff) If you want to try to do that go ahead and try, if you can get it to work good job ^^.
@ Abdullah- I like the lighting up links on roll over, but I can't see them that good, change the base color so that its more visable. But still lights up a bit on rollover.

i noticed that in daily life,we limit our imaginations so much,this solvation may not help us make games better but it will help us think differently and more creatively.
when you show a picture(doesn't have to be picture) of something to someone,and want him/her to imagine its abilities,how it looks and sounds,he/she thinks so limited.example:"look at this dog *shows a dog that is not too cool or too cute or too bad* imagine what it can do"and other one only imagines it can bite,bark and run

This is because of thinking like it will be in real life,but every time you will have to imagine something like this,those will not be what you need that thing to do.you should imagine it like this:it can bark,bite,can run really fast,can run up walls because its fast,can freerun(search "free running" in youtube),can flip,can glide a little,etc.etc.etc.

Thats an interesting way to think of things Abdullah. Normally what gets my creative Juices flowing is to watch some Anime. Im almost done with Rurouni Kenshin. Its pretty good, but Deathnote and Dragonball Z are still my favorites.

But yeah, now that i know how your suggestions make more sense.
What I do, when designing things, Is i think of what i want the game to feel like. Then I add in things to build up towards that emotion/fealing. In this game I want it to get the player "into" the game. That way when people/characters Die it hurts them, they HATE the bad guy and want to blow his brains out. And the sence of being over/under Powered, by not giving the human player any Buffs at all. stuff like that.
You say "Hey wouldn't it be cool if the player had a giant lazor cannon and could run up walls and Fart Ninja Slaves?" while that does make very exciting games, it can lack structure. But it is a very good way of brain storming. I am trying to give the game a darker tone, so that stuff doesn't really work as effectively, as Darker tones normally deal with getting that "Holy Crap, Im gonna die" fealing. Your way is much better for creating the "MHUAHAHAHAHA! I, AM, INVINCIBLE! ALL WILL FALL TO MY UNSTOPPABLE WRATH!!" Feeling, because you can Fart out Ninja slaves for Crying out loud.

*Seriously if any of you guys haven't already watched Deathnote, I highly recommend it. It will boost your IQ by 50 points :O*

* Also for DBZ your should READ it not watch it, they added so much filler in the anime. *

No that wouldn't work that well either. What is going to make the bad guys stronger are their superior numbers. Everything else is Evenly balenced.
Your way of thinking works rather well when you control a single ship andfight a whole armada.

You should try to combine both of our ways of thinking for the snake game. Think of a goal of what you want it to be like endgame, then add in a whole bunch of stuff to build towards that. (like put bad guys in it and the snake has a flame thrower)
the snake thing is just a side project that you are in charge of... or if you don't want it to be a snake game specifically, remake another classic game... like Tron. (tell me if you need me to create some kinda art for you.)

How's the BG coming along?
EDIT: Oops i forgot about the end of Beta... do you need to upgrade?

beta is not a problem,i mean wasn't.
(Im writing this from my mom's computer)
yesterday night electricity cut and came back about 5 times repeatedly,and then ,every electronic thing worked half,lamps were half lit,computers and tv didnt work.and i waited like that for an hour,i was scared,electricity came back completely,but my computer didnt open,i pressed its power button and button stayed lit for one second,and then it closed,i tried again few times and it repeated.at last it worked,it stayed lit,but npthing happened,nothing appeared on screen for a minute and i started to smell something burning,my computer threw some big orange sparks behind it and shut down,forever.it does not work now.and the real bad thing is.....my games.......are...........gone...maybe it can be fixed but if it cant,its really bad cuz ill have to start over.not only that game but also silverzard game,and other games i had and made.
my mom does not always let me use her computer so i may not be on that often.

Your Computer Exploded! I didn't think that that stuff could actually happen.

Alright... lets learn from this.
#1.) Always run your computer through a surge protector.
#2.) Make Sure you have Backup Files on a Flash Drive, and always carry it with you.
#3.) Install Fancy Anti-Explosion software on your computer.

I guess this means that we all go inactive for about 2-3 Months...
